The CU Library subscribes to a number of databases, many of which contain the full-text of articles found in journals. Each database is structured differently and often indexes different journal titles. To fully research a topic, you should access multiple databases.

The databases are accessible from any network port on campus. They are also available to registered students, faculty, and staff from off campus through a proxy server. If you plan to use the databases restricted to authorized users off campus, you MUST have a password.

A-Z Journal Title List

The CUI Library purchases subscriptions to many periodicals and periodical article databases, which altogether provide full text coverage of over 8,000 titles. Use the A-Z journal title list to find out if the library can provide access to that title. This product, from SerialsSolutions, allows you to search for any periodical in our many databases and in our print and microfiche holdings. Note: the A-Z journal title list now permits searching by subject category or discipline.

Electronic Books and Journals

There are a number of books and journals, that are in the public domain, that are available in electronic form. This is by no means a comprehensive list, but rather a list of materials that are useful for the study of disciplines offered at the university. The following disciplines are currently available:

Worth-While Websites (W.W.W.)

The CUI Library staff, in an attempt to help foster academic excellence, provides links to websites that are considered accurate, authentic, and relevant to the courses studied at the university. Websites that meet the criteria are divided by subject area or discipline. Each entry contains a brief annotation usually provided by the author of the site.
