The library provides electronic access to more than 11,000 periodical titles, supplemented by 263 titles in print and 300 titles in microfiche format.
All journal titles available are listed alphabetically and by subject area through the A-Z journal title list. The print and microfiche titles are also listed in the catalog. Periodicals cannot be checked out.
This Lutheran Reformation collection emphasizes Luther, Calvin, the Catholic-Lutheran dialogue, the English Reformation, the Confessions, and basic Lutheran Doctrine.
The children's collection, named in memory of Dr. Robert C. Baden, a beloved English professor who loved writing and reading children's literature, includes at least one copy of each of all Caldecott and Newberry Award winning books. It also offers a substantial collection of children's books published by Concordia Publishing House. The children's books are cataloged according to the Dewey Decimal system and can be checked out for 28 days
The Teacher Education Resource Room (Dale Hartmann Room - LA 101) houses K-12 curriculum materials from numerous publishers covering all subject areas, including religion, art and music. Materials in this collections may not be removed from the library.
Currently includes over 300 periodical titles which can be viewed and printed on the reader/printer located in the Copy Room (behind the Circulation Desk). Please ask for microfiche titles at the Circulation Desk.
